I sorta wish there were more group shots of Axel and Roxas. (Yeah, doesn't care too much about Xion) The colour page should have been better, don't you think? XD I mean I know the cover has the main stars, but we could use MOAR! Not that I don't like the Disney characters of course...but they have screen time like everywhere. lol

I'm not sure how he did them! But I have his KH art book, and he says in a comment something like 'I worked really hard and made all of these in colour, even though they ended up black and white' when talking about the novel pics. Maybe that's why they look painted? Unless they are painted! XDDD
