omg I hadn't heard the Drammatica version before!

My line of thinking went something like '*hears first 4 notes* fff- that's infinitely better than anything I managed to play in 6 years' XD I absolutely love it, it's very beautiful sounding, with a lovely flutist yay.

And of course, the lovely piano collections version is good too.


And despite my love of orchestra, I didn't really like the Symphonic Fantasies version too much XD idk, I think they changed it too much or something, it sounds too different for my liking.

The first time I heard the Drammatica version I burst into tears ;~; (I had spent a few hours making a video of Axel's death to Xion's theme to see if her theme makes stuff sadder, which it DOES and then I watched the Remembrance video to put that in, and I realised for the first time that Axel actually cries in it, and then I listened to this... and I was like.... SO SO SO SAD.)

Of the remixes, I think the second one is pretty cool. It gets all rock-star towards the end XD The Symphonic Fantasies one is okay... I think though that the Drammatica one kicks it's ass.

Yeah, that version sounds a lot sadder than the original... idk, something about the main instruments at the start sounds different (or more pronounced, anyway) than usual.

(Xion's theme is so damn sad. Hmm, I'd love to hear a piano collections or orchestrated version... which would most likely make it even sadder, if that was possible.)

(And the Remembrance video? I actually watched that for the first time after playing through Axel's death in KH2 (yep, for the first time too.) Which I found sad, so I got on the internet to look at happy things... yeah, the Rememberance scene is so, so not happy ;-;

It is one of my favourite scenes across all the games though <3 I'm such a damn sucker for angst.)

Oh and speaking of the Remembrance scene, that's the bit of the novels I am (ever-so-slowly) working on translating. And dear god, it is even sadder in the text because you get character's thoughts too.

I don't know why, but it sounds more desperate to me, that piano. 'Roxas' usually sounds sweeter, I think. Oh... and when it gets near to the climax, it's so sad and full of hope and desperation and just wishing... ;aergfh I love his theme so much. I love Roxas so much ;___;

There's a Xion's theme in piano, but I didn't like it that much.

I know, right?? It is so sad! Xion's theme is like, engineered to pull at your heartstrings. As I said, after making this video and listening to Roxas' Drammatica theme I burst into tears XDDDD
